Pond River
The Pond River is a 〔U.S. Geological Survey. National Hydrography Dataset high-resolution flowline data. (The National Map ), accessed June 13, 2011〕 tributary of the Green River in western Kentucky in the United States.〔 (Columbia Gazetteer of North America entry ) 〕 Via the Green and Ohio rivers, it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River. The Pond River rises in central Todd County and flows generally north-northwestwardly,〔 along the boundaries of Muhlenberg, Christian, Hopkins and McLean counties to the Green River, which it joins from the south about west-southwest of the town of Calhoun.〔 DeLorme (2005).
